Handles

All our axe handles are designed by Hans Erik Persson with an ergonomic shape for a firm and comfortable grip. Most handles are made from strong and flexible hickory. The handles are impregnated with warm linseed oil and beeswax to enhance quality.

All handles except those for the Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe are supplied with both a wooden wedge and a three-legged iron wedge. The Small Hatchet and Outdoor Axe handles are supplied only with a wooden wedge, as there is a high risk of cracking if an iron wedge is used.
