Forest Axes

Gränsfors Forest Axes are versatile working axes designed for use in the forest, from felling large trees to limbing smaller logs. They are characterised by a long, rounded edge combined with a flat, elongated axe head that provides controlled and efficient cutting.

Forest Axes are specially designed to cut across the grain of the wood fibres, making them ideal for felling and limbing, in contrast to splitting work where the axe follows the grain. The range includes several models, each developed for a specific purpose, many in close collaboration with specialists and professionals such as hunters, forest workers, fishermen, hikers and survival experts.

All Forest Axes come with a sheath of vegetable-tanned leather and a copy of The Axe Book.
