Our axe handles have been designed by Hans Erik Persson. The handle has an ergonomic design that gives a firm and comfortable grip. The majority of the handles are made of the wood type Hickory which is strong and flexible.
The axe handles are impregnated with warm linseed oil and beeswax, which increases the quality of the shafts.
All our handles except the Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe are delivered together with a wooden wedge and a three-legged iron wedge.
The Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe are only delivered together with a wooden wedge, as these handles have a high risk of cracking if an iron wedge is driven in.
