Thoughtfully chosen materials with respect for the environment and long-term use.
The environment is a core focus for Gränsfors Bruk, which is why the materials used for our axes are chosen with great care. Everything that is produced requires resources, and all resources have some impact on the environment. Our choice of materials is guided by environmental considerations and aims to be beneficial for both our employees and the end users.
As part of its environmental commitment, Gränsfors Bruk uses:
Steel entirely derived from recycled scrap metal.
A hickory handle that is strong and flexible, increasing the life of the handle and thereby helping to reduce the consumption of natural resources.
Vegetable-tanned leather that is free from heavy metals and biodegradable.
