Course Terms and Conditions

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND CANCELLATION

You have a 14-day right of cancellation when you book a course. We have full cancellations up to one month before the start of the course, minus the cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to cancel a course with too few registrations, less than 6 participants. In that case, we always offer another the possibility to rebook on another course or a refund of the course fee.

BOOKING & RESERVE PLACE

You can book a course under forging courses and selected course under – BOOK COURSE. You will then be redirected to our booking system, where you will find our available courses with information, dates, available places and whether the course is fully booked. You book and pay for your course directly in the booking system. If a course is fully booked, it is fine to make a reservation, please contact: courses@visitsagaliden.se

GIFT CARD

If you want to buy a gift card that can be used as payment for any course for 2026. You will then receive a personal gift card, with a value code that can be freely used during the year. Gift cards are invoiced. Please contact: courses@visitsagaliden.se

INVOICE/SPLIT PAYMENT

If you do not want to pay your course directly by card, it is fine by invoice. It is also possible to split the course fee into two payments. A reservation is then made for the current course, with payment following. Please contact: courses@visitsagaliden.se

GROUP BOOKING

If you are a large group or a company that wants to book several places on a course or an entire course and pay by invoice, this can be arranged. For group bookings of the entire course, certain special arrangements can also be arranged such as extended accommodation or the like. Please contact courses@visitsagaliden.se

 

CANCELLATION RULES

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

  •  You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days according to the Swedish
    Distance Selling Act, starting from the day you placed your order, completed payment, and received confirmation.

  • This also applies to course bookings or reservations via invoice.

  • Please note: does not apply to gift cards that have already been issued or sold.

Binding after withdrawal period

  • After the 14-day withdrawal period, your booking becomes binding, which applies once the booking and payment have been completed, the reservation confirmed, or the registration fee paid.

  • This counts as a confirmation of your course place.

  • For invoice payments, the full course fee must be paid at least 2 months before the course start.

CANCELLATION & REBOOKING

  • Cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail. courses@visitsagaliden.se

  • If you are unable to attend, your place can be transferred to another participant free of charge.

  • In certain cases, it is possible to rebook to another course up to 3 months before the course start, subject to availability.

CANCELLATION FEES

Forging Courses

  •  Cancellation earlier than 1 month before the course: full refund minus a cancellation fee of 895 SEK.

  •  Cancellation 4–2 weeks before the course: 50 % of the course fee charged.

  •  Cancellation 2–0 weeks before the course: 100 % of the course fee charged.

Timber Framing Course

  • At registration, a registration fee of 10 % of the course fee applies, which is not refunded in case of cancellation.

  • If you cancel earlier than 6 weeks before the course start, the remaining course fee will be refunded in full.

  • If cancellation occurs more than 45 days before the course start, the registration fee can instead be used as credit for a future course, subject to availability.

  • Cancellation 6–3 weeks before the course start: 50 % of the course fee charged.

  • Cancellation 3–0 weeks before the course start: 100 % of the course fee charged.

  • The remaining course fee will be refunded according to the above rules.

ILLNESS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS

  • In case of illness, the course can be rebooked free of charge upon presentation of a medical certificate.

  • For circumstances beyond your control (e.g., sudden illness), free cancellation minus any applicable fees applies, with a medical certificate.

CANCELLED COURSE

  • We reserve the right to cancel a course, for example if there are too few participants.

  • If a course is cancelled, you will be offered rebooking to another course or a full refund of the course fee.

  • o further compensation beyond the course fee will be paid.
