The Gränsfors diamond file is a straight diamond file with a coarse side and a finer side, and features a small wooden handle. The handle is slightly wider near the file blade to give a good grip. The diamond file is normally used with water but can also be used dry. The diamond file is 230-grit on the coarser side and 400-grit on the finer side.
Gränsfors Bruk offers three different sharpening products that are all relatively similar to each other: Sharpening Stone, Diamond File, and Natural Whetstone. The main difference between these products is the material, but both the grit size and shape of the products differ as well. Choosing the right product comes down to individual opinion and taste.
